During my years of professional practice I have worked with clients having a wide range of problems from serious mental illnesses to difficulties with relationships and stressful life events. More recently I have become interested in helping clients who have encountered hurdles in achieving their goal of making changes needed to develop an authentic and purposeful life. As a result the focus of my practice is coaching clients in making difficult decisions, creating motivation for change and actually carrying out their plans.

The focus of Authentic Living Coaching is on getting “unstuck” by creating the life that is authentic deeply and meaningful for you.  I will work with you to connect with your inner wisdom, to strengthen your commitment to change, and to reduce obstacles to reaching your goals, such as unproductive thinking and fear of change.  You will learn a variety of skills, including mindfulness, emotion regulation and cognitive restructuring, which will guide you in moving forward (see Skills for Change and Life Skills).

My greatest satisfaction comes from accompanying my clients on their journey of internal change. Many clients have had previous experiences with professionals, which they describe as unfocused and ineffective.  In our work together we will clarify the goals that are truly important to you and focus on making progress toward those goals. If you are looking for an opportunity to work with an experienced and skilled practitioner, I encourage you to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.
